The Makeup for Media and Creative Arts program combines theoretical instruction with extensive hands-on experience. Students learn about the use of makeup for characterization, appearance transformation, character creation, special effects and fantasy makeup. They are also taught about applying makeup in different media and environments, as well as interacting with other industry professionals such as cinematographers, costume designers and art directors. The main focus of the program is on makeup for film, television, theater, fashion, photography and special events.
