The Instrumentation Engineering Technician - Process Automation program is one of the most disruptive and innovative programs today. It focuses and trains the student in instrumentation and process control, where you will learn to design, install, maintain and repair automated robotic and control systems. From the study of instrumentation and electronics to PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) and HMI (Human Machine Interface) programming, you will become an expert in industrial automation systems.
Thunder Bay is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, with Lake Superior and Sleeping Island National Park right on its doorstep. Students have the opportunity to explore and enjoy a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, kayaking, skiing and snowboarding.
