If you consider living in the maritimes, here are 4 provinces that are united, which are:

  • Prince Edward Island
  • New Brunswick
  • Nova Scotia
  • New foundland and labrador.

To live in these provinces there are 3 immigration programs that you could consider.

  • Atlantic Immigration Program
  • Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class
  • Provincial nomination.

Am I eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program?

To be eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must have:

  • Qualified work experience, unless you are an international graduate of a recognized post-secondary institution in Atlantic Canada,
  • Meet or exceed educational requirements,
  • Meet or exceed language requirements,
  • Show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family when you arrive in Canada. If you are already living and working in Canada with a valid work permit, you do not need to show proof.

Am I eligible for the Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class program?

To be eligible to apply for the Canadian Experience Class (Fast Track Entry), you must have:

The Canadian experience class is for skilled workers who have work experience in Canada and wish to become permanent residents.

Minimum requirements

  • You must meet the following language levels
  • Have at least 1 year of qualifying work experience in Canada within the last 3 years prior to applying.

Who is not eligible for the Express Entry - Canadian Experience Class program?

You are not eligible for the Canadian Experience Class if:

  • You are a refugee claimant in Canada
  • You are working without authorization.
  • Your work experience was obtained without temporary resident status in Canada.

Education

There are no education requirements for the Canadian experience class.

Admissibility

Must be admissible in Canada.

Where you can live in Canada

You must plan to live outside the province of Quebec.

Am I eligible for the Provincial Nomination program?

The provincial nomination will not be discussed in this post as it is a very long topic, since each province has at least 8 provincial nominations, that is, more than 32 programs, each with its own requirements.

One thing that is very important to keep in mind is that by applying in this way, you are marrying yourself to the province.
