Eddy Ramirez

Eddy Ramirez is a Canadian immigration lawyer licensed to practise in Ontario and Quebec, with several years of experience in immigration and administrative law.

She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and also holds a special permit from the Barreau du Québec to practise as a Canadian legal advisor (conseillère juridique canadienne – c.j.c.).

Born in Venezuela, Eddy earned her law degree from Universidad Católica and is also a member of the Venezuelan Bar Association.

She later continued her legal education in Canada at Université de Montréal, where she earned an LL.M. in International Business Law, followed by a second LL.M. in North American Common Law. She also obtained a diploma in Immigration Law from LaSalle College in Montreal.

Eddy's practice focuses on complex immigration litigation and administrative law matters, including:

• Applications for writs of mandamus against Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
• Appeals and Reconsideration of Immigration Decisions

As part of his litigation practice, Eddy also represents clients in professional negligence claims related to immigration matters, including civil actions against consultants or representatives whose conduct has caused immigration-related harm or financial losses.
