End of COVID-19 vaccine testing for entry into Canada

We have excellent news for those who will arrive in Canada after September 2022. The Canadian government will end the vaccine testing for entering Canada, meanwhile the ArriveCan declaration will be optional, these measures will be valid from the end of September 2022. All this will be confirmed at the end of the same month along with random COVID-19 testing upon entry to Canada.

In June, the government began allowing unvaccinated Canadians to board planes and trains to domestic or international destinations, but they still had to meet current COVID-19 testing and quarantine requirements upon return from international destinations. After this latest update to the COVID-19 border rules, foreign nationals coming to Canada were still required to be vaccinated in order to enter.

It is unclear whether the United States will do the same for Canada. Outside the U.S., citizens traveling to the country must still be fully vaccinated.
