Pure Fun!

It is possible and it's called Super Aqua Club, just 40 minutes from Montreal. Taking advantage of the last weeks of summer, we decided to do something different and spent an amazing day there; if you are in Quebec or planning to travel, it is worth enjoying a day at this water park that is only 36 miles from Montreal city.

This destination is pure fun. Super Aqua Club is the largest water park in Quebec, with more than 45 attractions, including: a heated wave pool, Tsunami, Tornado, Storm and much more.

The first thing that strikes you when you enter the park is the large parking lot and the security measures that the staff has in place. Among the vegetation you can see some of the large slides of the park, but until you are inside you do not get an idea of the many different and varied attractions that the place has. At the entrance you will be greeted by staff to identify your tickets via code (due to the pandemic, tickets can only be purchased online), the price is CAD $30 for adults and CAD $20 for children. Once you are inside, it is recommended that you look for a table to be used later for lunch.

Before starting to enjoy, at the entrance you can rent a locker, the cost is CAD $10, where you can leave your valuables to tour the park quietly. You can leave your lunch or snack bag on the reserved table. If you do not bring your lunch or snack with you, you can enjoy the restaurant located in the park.

When we entered, we were located in the table area closest to the attraction "The Tornado" and we started waiting in line, it was not long at all and with the enthusiasm and eagerness that one brings, the wait passed quickly. This attraction is great and very accessible for families -you can go down the tube in four-person floats-. In fact, most of the park's attractions are moderate and you can enjoy them if you have small children and they are not too fearful. After floating down the big tube, we went to try all the other slides. After experiencing these strong emotions, we decided to enjoy a quieter attraction "Lazy river", it is a small artificial river where the current rocks while enjoying the beautiful vegetation.

After all these adventures, we decided it was time to eat and prepare our picnic table, in the shade and with spectacular views. After resting for a while we went to see the games dedicated to children, another small aquatic wonder, we found Storm, a huge complex of interactive water games for the whole family, with its six water slides, numerous water jets and guns, and a huge tipping water bucket, all surrounded by a lively children's pool.

The day went by very quickly and at 6:00 pm, the time when the staff starts to whistle announcing the time to leave and that all the attractions are closed. As you get your personal items ready and change clothes, there are few people left in the park and this makes the exit not uncomfortable.

By the way, if you are a person who does not feel like adrenaline, you can also enjoy the beach that is located in the same place and a few steps away from all the attractions.
