In this blog we are going to talk about the "Atlantic Immigration Program" or AIP, in which you could come to Canada already with permanent residency thanks to a job offer from a company participating in the program.

To be eligible for the Atlantic Immigration Program, you must have:

• Work experience in a TEER 0,1,2,3 or 4 , unless you are an international graduate of a recognized post-secondary institution in the Atlantic region. 
• Comply with educational requirements
• Meet language requirements
• Prove that you have enough money to support yourself and your family when you arrive in Canada. If you are already living and working in Canada with a valid work permit, you do not need to show proof.

If you meet all of these requirements, you can begin looking for a job with a designated employer in the Atlantic region.

‍

If you are outside Canada you can apply for permanent residence if you get a job offer with companies that are part of the AIP program. 

‍

One of the four Maritime provinces that applies for this program is New Brunswick. 

‍
