Studying in Canada and successfully completing a degree is the dream of many foreigners, finding the right formula to not fail in the attempt is the reality of all; I affirm this from my experience advising our clients in the Education Department of Immiland Canada, a Canadian immigration consulting firm that is expanding and of which I am a certified member as director of education. On this occasion, I am very pleased to share with you this special article dedicated to the most recent testimony we have received from one of our Hispanic clients, Alba Tristani, a Venezuelan student with an enormous desire to excel academically and who after many failed attempts saw the light on her immigration path to achieve her Canadian dream.

Here is Alba Tristani's success story - Immiland's client.

Alba, her husband and dog
"Immiland was the company that my husband and I trusted to take our educational and immigration process to Canada."

"Hello, my name is Alba Tristani. For more than 5 years, my husband and I have had the dream of studying in Canada. As we all do nowadays, I searched for information in different websites, however, we felt lost with so many data, news, reports and even advice and recommendations uploaded on the internet. In the end, we had no idea which would be the best educational option and also we did not know the difference between one province and another to adapt to the environment and select the most suitable academic program according to our needs and requirements. Even after consulting with two companies prior to Immiland, we still could not find an option that met our expectations.

On our insistence, we found several YouTube videos featuring lawyer and regulated consultant Eddy Ramirez, in which she spoke honestly about the benefits of studying in Canada and how to go about the due process, and it was in this way that we came to Immiland. Eddy's clear approach and the business ethics she reflected in her message resonated with us; so Immiland was the company my husband and I trusted to handle our educational and immigration process to Canada.

Something that inspired me a lot of confidence and made me feel sure that Immiland would be the right choice for us was what the lawyer Eddy said about her Venezuelan clients in one of her videos, I remember that she recommended the renewal of their passports before applying for a study permit in Canada, instead of applying with the extension (a resource that the Venezuelan government has been giving us for some years now), since there would be more probabilities that the immigration officer would question that profile, and that in Immiland they preferred to do things in a responsible way rather than overcharging their clients. This seemed to me to be very honest and proper of the business ethics that a company should handle.

Once the contact with Immiland was made and after detailed consultations with the lawyer and regulated consultant, Andy Rodriguez, and the education director, Angy Diaz, about our profiles and educational preferences, the advisory team led us to Cape Breton University (CBU), in Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada; There I took the Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Business Management, a program of studies adapted to my needs, since it aimed at reinforcing my knowledge in business, with emphasis on leadership and organizational culture, and also offered me the option of having a practical component to join the Canadian labor market before graduating.

Ultimately, this integrity of knowledge combined with the experience of Immiland's advisory team, as well as the relationships and agreements the company has with various educational institutions across Canada, led us to trust in the ability of Immiland's education and immigration departments to confidently take on one of the most important decisions of our lives.

On the other hand, in the search for job options to perform the internship, I found an opportunity that fit my professional profile and allowed me to apply the knowledge acquired at Cape Breton University; so I applied and fortunately I got the position. This position at the university not only allowed me to complete the internship required by the university, but also provided me with a permanent job within the same institution. Today, I am the International Student Recruitment Officer for Cape Breton University.

It is for all of the above that I will always be enormously grateful to the Immiland team for their help and support during this process, also for taking me to the beautiful island of Cape Breton, as both on the island and at CBU I have met wonderful people from all over the world and a friendly and welcoming community that welcomed us with open arms.

Thank you!"
