What are twinning, bundle, 1+1 programs?
The person who thought of creating this opportunity for international students really deserves an award.
Our immigration consultants always recommend that the duration of the program you choose should be at least 2 years so that when you graduate, your eligibility time for an open work permit after graduation will be up to 3 years and you will be able to do your residency process calmly and with less risk.
The problem is that most postgraduate degrees last only 1 year, especially for careers that are very specific like a postgraduate degree in BIM, for example.
During the pandemic many of our institutions have implemented this opportunity to join 2 postgraduate programs of 1 year duration each where the letter of acceptance will be for the full 2 years of study.
The twinning programs are 2 graduate programs of 1 year duration each and are recommended for students who already have a previous undergraduate degree. The major benefit of these programs is that the student may be eligible for a PGWP for up to 3 years of duration, since the letter of acceptance to the program is for 2 years of study.
