In March 2025, Canada conducted several provincial draws within the Express Entry system, highlighting the importance of the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) in attracting qualified candidates who meet the specific needs of the provinces and can obtain permanent residency.

Today we update our Canadian immigration blog with a summary of the most relevant Express Entry provincial draws for March 2025. Read along with me to the end and stay tuned on the number of invitations issued and the minimum score required for each. Let's get started.

Express Entry Provincial Drawings Summary - March 2025

These draws reflect Canada's continued focus on attracting skilled immigrants through provincial nominations. Provincial nomination draws automatically award an additional 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System.

Candidates can also receive points for having family in Canada or immigrating with a spouse or partner. The higher the score, the more likely to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) in an upcoming Express Entry draw.

Candidates can earn additional bonus points for having job offers under an arranged employment contract, but this will be until spring 2025, as the government plans to eliminate CRS bonus points for job offers.

If you are interested in participating in the Express Entry system or would like to improve your chances of receiving an invitation, be sure to keep your profile updated and consider options such as provincial nomination to increase your CRS score.
