Recommendations for a successful AAIP application
Before application:
- Research which immigration pathway best suits your specific profile and circumstances. Make sure you meet the eligibility requirements and prepare all necessary documentation.
- Enhance your professional skills and experience. Note that, in this provincial draw, invitations to apply were issued to Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates based on their professional skills, experience and/or ties to Alberta. Consider obtaining additional certifications or participating in training programs that are valued in Alberta.
- Strengthen your ties to the province, as this can be a deciding factor in your application. For example, having family members, having studied or worked in Alberta, or having a job offer from a local employer can create a connection to the region.
