Web Form
The web form is an online tool used to communicate with Immigration Canada (IRCC).
When is it recommended to send this form?
- If you have submitted an application.
- Your request has exceeded normal processing times, it is important to note that IRCC does not respond to your inquiry if the request is within normal processing times.
- You want to report important changes, such as a change in contact information, births, deaths, marriages, divorces, adoptions, employment changes, application withdrawals, refund requests, or urgent requests. If a change in contact information is reported, it will take 5 business days to update.
- You wish to cancel a representative.
- Requires urgent processing of your renewal/replacement Permanent Resident card.
- You wish to report a technical problem with IRCC online services.
Processing time:
The standard response time for an IRCC web form is 30 days. However, it may take longer depending on the complexity of your inquiry.
What information is required to submit a web form?
These are the elements the web form must include:
- Type of application (i.e. visitor, student, worker, etc.)
- The date the application was sent (this date should appear on the first letter you received from Immigration Canada when you first submitted your application), if applicable.
- Your complete address (including zip code). If the residential address is different from the mailing address, provide both addresses.
- Your unique customer identifier (UCI)/request number, if you have one.
- Screenshots and supporting documents, if applicable.
