Eddy Ramirez

Eddy Ramirez is a Canadian immigration lawyer admitted to the bar in both Ontario and Québec, with years of experience practicing immigration and administrative law.

She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and also holds a special permit from the Barreau du Québec as a Canadian Legal Advisor (conseillère juridique canadienne – c.j.c.). Born in Venezuela, Eddy obtained her law degree from Universidad Católica and is also a member of the Venezuelan Bar Association.

‍Shelater continued her legal education in Canada at the Université de Montréal, where she completed a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International Business Law and a second LL.M. in North American Common Law. She also obtained a diploma in Immigration Law from LaSalle College in Montréal.

Eddy’s practice focuses on complex immigration litigation and administrative law matters, including:

• Mandamus applications against Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC)
• Appeals and reconsideration of immigration decisions
