A Quebec Certificate of Acceptance (CAQ) is a document issued by the Ministère de l'Immigration, de la Francophonie et de l'Intégration (MIFI) authorizing a foreigner to work or study in the province of Quebec for a period of more than 6 months.
The requirements vary whether you are a worker or a student.
- Who has been administered in a DLI institution in Quebec (student), or who has a positive LMIA to work in Quebec (worker).
- Demonstrate that you are able to assume the costs of living in Quebec.
- Commit to the conditions of your Quebec Certificate of Acceptance.
- Pay the fee.
- Medical Insurance is sometimes required.
