As of March 19, IRCC officially published that international student couples wishing to work in Canada will only be able to do so if the student is pursuing a master's, doctoral or bachelor's degree in Canada:

• Optometry
• Pharmacy
• Veterinary Medicine
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

Therefore, it is essential that if you want your partner to travel to Canada with an open work permit, he/she must be admitted to one of these academic programs, because if you study a program in a College, either post-secondary or graduate, your partner will not have an open work permit and if he/she tries to apply for it, he/she will be automatically denied.

3. Upload your documents to our portal, click here
4. Complete the form and attach the documents requested therein (originals and official translations on all pages, even if the back page is blank),
5. Immiland will receive the information and if required will ask for extra documents,
6. We will proceed with the registration, once the registration is submitted the waiting time for a response from the college is 4 to 12 weeks and from a public university from 12 weeks to 24 weeks approximately.
7. We will provide you with the offer with the steps to follow to obtain the LOA and apply for the respective study permit. If you wish to take our visa services you can enjoy a 10% discount on services.
