Because of the beauty of this season, I decided to make a short list of some of the outdoor activities to do in the fall.

Visit the Sainte-Anne Canyon: Only 1 hour from Quebec City, a place where you can admire the beautiful autumn view from the 3 suspension bridges, one of them is the highest in Quebec.

2. Picking fresh crops: Fall is a time of great fruitful abundance. You can enjoy a beautiful day picking apples, zucchini or blueberries in one of the orchards that rural Quebec has to offer.

Visit Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area: You can witness the migration of snow geese. This place is only 1 hour from downtown Quebec City. The great snow geese gather here by the tens of thousands during their spring and fall migration.

Visit the Montreal Botanical Garden: Enjoy with your family the colors of the wide variety of plants of the Jardin botanique and the outdoor activities that will be offered starting October 2nd. The theme will be Halloween and there will even be outdoor theater performances for the youngest members of the family (for children from 3 to 10 years old).

There are certainly many more activities! Do you know of any others? Would you like to share your experience with us?
