Gros-Morne National Park

Gros Morne National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, largely because of its unique geological phenomena. This popular Newfoundland attraction has hiking trails, boat tours, among other popular activities such as climbing, swimming, camping, fishing and much more.

Signal Hill National Historic Site

Signal Hill National Historic Site overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. In 1901, Guglielmo Marconi received the first transatlantic wireless signal here. The iconic Cabot Tower commemorates the 400th anniversary of John Cabot's voyage. Hiking trails lead to the fortifications of Queen's Barracks.

Therooms

St. John's newest museum is called The Rooms and includes several collections divided by theme. Themes include wildlife, natural history, aboriginal finds, contemporary art, and historical and cultural exhibits about the province. The museum has one of the best views of the city and Signal Hill.
