The purpose of the consultation is to assess the individual's particular situation and determine whether there is a need to apply for protection in Canada. During the consultation, the lawyer will analyze the elements and evidence presented by the person and assess whether the reasons given are in line with the criteria established forrefugee protection. Based on this assessment, the most appropriate process to follow will be defined.
